I would be more than happy to do just that but one needs the author password to do the update. I do not have that password. I can post a visitor message, but a visitor message by me, with an update, would just get lost in the shuffle and perhaps overlooked by people visiting the site.

I've asked Damsel ‹ she set it up initially, two years ago. If she remembers and if she replies, I'll let you know.

In the meantime, I don't believe that an update to her condition would get lost in the shuffle. If you go to the site, you'll see that at the bottom is an indication of how many times the guestbook has been signed that day. It would be easy for interested parties to check the site daily, looking for entries --by you-- in the Guestbook section. It would be very easy. I would much prefer to see information there; it is the appropriate place for it.


True, but actual Journal entries will trigger and email to anyone who subscribes. Guestbook entries won't do that.
