Crafts maybe? I remember we used to glue corn kernels
and macaroni on boards. Did anyone else do that?

I'd make Christmas ornaments by opening an egg
by making a hole in the side of the egg, removing
the contents, enlarging and circularizing the
hole, removing the membrane on the inside of
the shell, gluing a tiny pine cone and pine
branch inside the egg, gluing a border around
the edge of the hole, gluing a loop of colored
cord on top for hanging from the tree, and
gluing rows of seeds surrounding the hole
until the whole egg was covered with corn,
wheat, etc.
