Any other dog owners want to take a stab at explaining why somebody
would only feed their dog every three days?
Yes, when the breed type is something that takes well to this (I know some
types are supposed to be very thin, whippets etc and will get very ill if
over fed) and the aforementioned 'treats' are so big that they actually
consitute a meal.
The listed one that caused a wait til 3rd day for example came at day 2 if I
read it right and was chicken, chiorzo, a whole can of fish, brie, and other
stuff. In other words, *a whole meal* termed as a 'treat'.
Could well be Peter is only using the term 'feeding' for when he adds a cup
or 2 of dry dog food and the rest of the time, the dog gets other things in
fairly substantial quantity but calls that a 'treat'. Just a minor language
difference there, kinda like Canada folks spell Color wierd (grin).
