Yes, and that will probably be true for awhile with all the downed poles
and lines. I'm more concerned about another friend that did not
evacuate from Galveston. :-(


My daughter and her family live in Kingwood, TX.
She can only use her cellphone (sparingly). But all is
well, and they did have ample time to prepare.

Ike rode all the way to upstate NY and gave us 50+ mph wind
Sunday night. There were about 100,000 people without power.
