*Some* people turn to welfare as a last resort. Meanwhile, there are
lots of people out there who have no problem getting pregnant and unable
to support the children and living on welfare. Then they demand day care

the work force.
So, according to your system, only employed mothers in committed
relationships have the right to demand anything from their country,
right? I'm not always sympathetic toward indiscriminate legs spreading
on the part of poor women who know they haven't got a prayer when it
comes to supporting children. But come on, men are the ones sticking it
to these women, making false promises, building up fragile self esteems
only to "*** and run". Where's the indictment against men in this
regard? Once children are born, they need to be cared for. If they have
special needs or learning disabilities, they may require special
education. Only the cruelest, most heartless people in the world would
punish children for merely being born under adverse circumstances by
depriving them of the care and education middle and upper class people
can afford to purchase.
