Fork in the Road

Channel surfed into this show on PBS.

Good show. Cool techniques, recipes and BBQ tips.

It was cool to see several styles of smokers and BBQ grill dotted
around
in a
pasture all in use with cows grazing freely. He was BBQing chicken and
game
hens. I wonder if the cows were thinking, better them than us.

The host is SUPER laid back, with his shades on! He also hosted a show
called
BBQ-U.

Eric Villegas is NOT Steve Raichlen!

dejablues,

That's the guy, Steven Raichlen! My online cable TV Planner SCREWED UP
or
changed programming. The time slot showed "Fork in the Road." The
BUMS!!!

Primal Grill! was the show.

He's the host.

Enjoyed the show a lot!

Thanks for helping me achieve clarity! :)

Andy

I'm a Steve Raichlen groupie. :-) Love the "Grill -Cam" !
Many a time, we've watched the show, gone to the store, bought the
ingredients, and made the recipes the same night.

dejablues,

That's great! Good to hear of your groupie status, too! The world can never
have enough food groupies. ;)

I need to buy a grill and smoker and arrange them in the meadow like him,
so I can be outstanding in my field again. <guffaw> I don't know if I can
chill like he does.

Steven presents very clear and concise information in an easy to absorb
way!

One of a few things I took from the show was how to correctly place the
hood so it vented correctly. In all my years, I never knew.

I went back and scrutinized the TV schedule and it's wrong again! With
"Barbeque America" now in the same noon time slot! I don't know what's
going on with that! Anyway, they should do a marathon weekend of his show
sometime soon.

Best,

Andy
