It's the same reason you won't live there. I'm also
against hunting animals with assault rifles and night
scopes. Low tech bow and arrow are sport. High tech bow
and arrow, and guns any caliber above 36 are not.

ok, i agree mostly. i don't particularly think anyone *needs*
an assault rifle (although with the way out gub'mint is
eroding freedoms for false sense of security, i really can
understand why some folks want to stockpile weapons...
however, the American Revolutionaries were outgunned by the
British. brains are more important than firepower).
have you noticed that it's next to impossible to find a
regular recurve bow anywhere? even the dedicated bow hunting
places only carry the high tech idiot bows :p
