Well, yahbut do we *really* know it's *her* utility bill. . . .

<shrugs> I don't have copies of other people's electric bills

(I was kidding.)

I almost put a grin in there, then I wondered.... ;) At any rate,
 Sheldon
took you seriously, isn't that fun!

Yeah, right... she was kidding my ass... *she* certainly *meant* it
(and was correct) but then Barb wussed out for reasons only she and I
know.

She was correct about what?

Exactly what Barb originally said... nothing about your submission
actually proves it's yours... but so what... Barb is rfc's lead
patronizer and professional fence walker... she's famous for saying
one thang and ten minutes later turning 180 degrees... don't ever
trust Barb to watch your back lest she slip the knife in herself.

Do you honestly think I somehow got ahold of
someone else's electric bill?

Very easy, especially when living in an apartment with other rental
units... people are notoriously lax with safekeeping their identifying
documents, why do you think ID theft is rampant. I find some of my
neighbor's discarded statements blowing about my fields all the
time... I'm not interested in stealing anyones ID, my own is more than
enough to handle, so I tear them up and put them in the trash.

But I do believe that is your electric bill. What I don't beleve is
that particular bill indicates true normal usage for the average
person... as I previously explained you may not be home very much. As
an example, Jill McQ has been living away from home for a while so I
bet her electric bill for that period will be abnormally low. My own
electric bills during winter months seem abnormally low when compared
with my summer months electric bills because thats when I have central
air running 24/7 and I keep it set at 68F. My summer electric bills
are 2/3 higher than during winter... if I presented one each of my
bills no one would believe both were mine. The point is that one
electric bill proves nothing... I sometimes get an estimated bill that
is nothng like my typical usage, and then I'll get adjusted bills,
again they have no bearing on actual usage... when there's heavy snow
during winter the meter reader can't get to my meter, but I have no
idea what criteria they use to make up some of my weird bills, but
over time they correct themselves so pay them and I don't get all bent
out of shape about it.

I can take a picture of my driver's license, too, if you want.

Huh?!?!? Your driver's license hasn't anything to do with electric
bills... why don't you take a picture of yourself nekid and send it to
me. hehe

Actually submitting an electric bill (whether it contains your name or
not) proves nothing. There are myriad reasons one could possess a
single or even multiple electric bills that indicate especially low
usage. Many people spend very little time at home, they are at their
legal residence very occasionally... just like people's automobile
useage is very different... I'm sure if I submitted my fuel bill for
last month some people would have doubts of it's validity... my
gasolene consumption is much less than most (I used 1/2 gallon of
petrol last month) I drove all of 7 miles for the month of March but
that's abnormal for me, because I typically drive a whopping 700 miles
a year. LOL

Submitting your electric bill in the manner you did only makes you
appear the fool. And you never did answer whether your stove is
electric or gas. I asked you perfectly legitimate questions regarding
your utility useage, but the paranoid one had to toss a monkey wrench
into the pot that I was implying you were lying... any normal person
reading my post cannot show where I doubted you. All I can say is
with an electric bill so low as yours you do not live like the vast
majority of those posting here... didja ever think that maybe folks
are just plain curious about why (you knew that low bill would get a
reaction is why you raced to submit it). When folks post stuff here
other folks normally ask questions, those who are offended don't
belong here, it's as simple as that. Go back and reread, I wasn't the
only one who thought your electric bill was abnormally low, even with
miserly ways... because when it comes to turning off lights no one is
more miserly than me, but over many years I've learned that lights,
especially with today's technology, are a very small percentage of
total useage, but still I turn them off just to save a very few cents
because that's how I was raised too, flipping the light switch off
when I leave a room is as automatic as taking my keys out of the
ignition when I turn off my car. But I ain't gonna unplug my fridge
just to be absolutely certain that light bulb inside is really off (I
have thought about unscrewing it, hehe). The truth is that the more
lights are turned on and off the more the life of the bulbs is
shortened, and bulbs aren't so cheap... it's really a bad habit to
turn the lights off in a room when you know you will be returning a
few minutes later... but old habits are hard to change.

If you feel attacked don't blame me, blame Jill... she's the only one
who played the Liars Card... so in actuallity it was she who implied
you're a liar, but Jill always has to make it appear someone else made
the attack when in reality it's her, she is mean spirited and
malicious... it should be quite evident to anyone reading here, even
the most shallow minded, that it was Jill calling you a liar while
using me as a shield to hide behind, because Jill is a coward and a
back stabber... Jill is as cowardly as her father was heroic.

Keep in mind, I always take credit for what I say and I never ever
hide behind anyone, so if I thought you were lying I would have said
so outright, I'm not known for mincing words, you'll never meet anyone
more brutally frank. The truth is I was attempting to initiate a
meaningful dialog regarding energy usage in the kitchen... sadly this
Newsgroup is already in the throes of death.
