Must be a newer finish. My step-mom has a small Lodge skillet she cooks
eggs in. The bottom of that pan is so painfully rough, you could remove
paint from house siding with it. It's literally about 40 grit. If you look
close, you can see little stalagmites on the bottom left from the unfinished
casting. She cooked a couple of fried eggs, over easy, and they didn't
stick. My jaw was on the floor. :|
