Very occasionally, they make a "show cake". Those are not designed for
eating at all, being made of styrofoam or the like.
I saw the one they made for the Radio City Christmas Show.
It had been moved to an out-of-the-way spot. Somewhere
from the time they delivered it and when I saw it, it had taken
some beating. Only a couple of the Rockettes remained and
everything was chipped.
I think they call those Dummy cakes.
