Here they be. The IT guy (who's a chick these days) dropped off three
boxes.

I am surrounded by them at my daughter's dance studio. There's a cookie
mom there. Gah!

A friend of my has severe food allergies and ended up in the hospital (about
the tiime they found he had the allergies) after eating girl scout cookies.
Normally a 'no thank you, I'm not interested' suffices, but he has told me
of one 'Cookie Mom from Hell'. She does not take no for answer, drags the
girl (and more than her's if she has them in tow) in front of him and say
"Tell her she can't go to Camp ....can't make this craft, go on this
trip.....etc.'.....After three attempts at guilting him into buying the
cookies, he asked his mom, who at the time worked in a hospital billing
office, to get him either a copy of his hospital bill (the one with the
breakdowns) or some generic one they use for training that has a couple of
hundred pages of 'incidentals'.......Next time said cookie mom accosted him,
he was ready. He opened up the desk drawer......FFFFWWWOOOMMP, slaps the
bill on the table.....looks at her and says 'this is what it cost me the
last time I bought girl scout cookies, you and your little troop up to
picking up the cost this go round? She blanched and took off.........He
still has that bill in his desk, as he knows someone else will ask
obnoxiously. The worst part is, if he was in a magnaimous mood, he usually
buys a box and puts it out in the break room, but this woman was so pushy,
just box wouldn't be enough.........you need to buy them by the gross from
her.
