Re: Champion dog eats steak!

I know the feeling. It is humiliating. I once had a Bouvier des Flandres who
would never lick my face. She would never miss a chance to lick my wife's face,
and often gave kisses to visitors. I even tried smearing gravy on my face, but
she still wouldn't kiss me.
When my parents were first married they had a champion bred Labradro Retriever
who practically lived on steak. My father spent the last year of the war as a
flight instructor at a base near Vancouver and they rented a room from a
butcher. Due to war time rationing, no one was using their ration coupons for
steak, so when he got stuck with unsold steak that was starting to turn it was
given to the dog. He liked it.
