Attempt #2

Every other post I have made lately shows up. I have never had a
problem
with posts showing up. Actually after reading some of them, I have
wished
they hadn't shown up.

Maybe someone is reading them and when not impressed.. click deLETE.

Anyway if you responded to any of my nonsense and I did not respond ..
somebody, somewhere deleted the reply.

This may not show up, if it doesn't you will understand what I mean.
:)

I think in an unmoderated group mo one can delete your posts, not even
you.

Exactly.

You are exactly wrong. Try to read cathy's post!

OK. I can "delete" posts in Outlook Express, and OE hides them from me. I'll
never see them again. But, they are not deleted from my ISP's server. You
will still see what I don't. If other people's ISPs operate differently, I
wasn't aware of it.

... For many years now, I've been reading books and newspapers and when I think what that reading does for me and then think what I get out of newsgroups posts and reading newsgroup posts, here is my conclusion: i) I learn much more from my own reading of printed material than from reading newsgroup posts, and ii) reading which stimulates me to respond to posts is mostly entertaining to me and slightly educational. ... on how damned good globalization is for the USA [but let's not acknowledge that its even better for India] and more recently involving with a wide diversity of ideas of his that I think are mostly bunk) have stimulated me ...
