I've eaten pasta, pesto, sea bream, wee clams, gnocchi, ham, wild boar,
incredible pancetta, and a couple other sausages the names of which
escape me, and drank reds and whites.
Cinque Terre was too much walking for my bad ankle and what used to be
an okay knee.
My Italian accent is fine. '-) and the bus driver rules! "Massimo il
Massimo."

Sounds like fun. We're leaving for Italy tomorrow and will be in Tuscany by
the end of next week. What towns in Tuscany were your favorites? Restaurant
& winery recommendations?
Thanks,
Jon
Castello di Verrazzano was wonderful and fun. Their Man Gino and I got
along famously. He was smitten by my tattoos. :-)
Osteria en Volpaia was great! Small family-owned place.
Wine is not my passion.
We were in Volterra, San Gimignano, and Lucca. Lucca was very
interesting. We have had excellent local guides. I don't give a rip if
I don't see another cathedral until I'm in the box myself. ":-)
