I need some saffron. I know that Penzeys saffron has been talked about
here, but I cannot remember which one was recommended as being really
top notch.
Anyone remember?

the Spanish Table in Berkeley where slightly over 1/3 oz. of Spanish Saffron
is $36. I'm pretty certain it's the same Saffron I bought in Spain years
ago. As I said below, it freezes well. We recommend the Spanish Table for
its quality and service. I would't hesitate to buy mail order from them.
