I buy diet to avoid empty carbs.

Between giving up sugar soft drinks and french fries, you've made room for
some nice desserts.

I'm not worried about the sugar substitute. even though I know it's
supposed
to cause cancer in some lab rats in CA.

Water is the best soft drink, followed closely by real juices in moderation.
