My mother had an accident and is in the hospital.
She has been there several weeks and she is on heavy sedation.
She will be hospitalized for quite awhile, so I went and cleaned out
her refrigerator. I am a bachelor and not much of a cook.
She has a Spring Hill (brand) Ham and Water Product (thats what it
says on the package).
It's wrapped in plastic. It's been sitting in that fridge for several
weeks. It's still sealed so it looks to be ok.
However, there are no instructions on the label. (Why dont they put
instructions on packages?).
What do I do with it? Is it just a slice and eat, or does it need to
be baked, or what? I dont have the faintest idea what to do.
I thought of just freezing it for mom, but my tiny freezer is too
filled now. I may as well just eat it, but what do I do with it?
Thanks
George
If it's been there for several weeks I'd chuck it. Two weeks, okay,
but after that I 'd get worried. Is there a best before date? If
you're not long past that then it's probably okay.
