I'm watching a new show called "Throwdown with Bobby Flay". ( I think
that's the title). A program where the professional wrestler of food
chooses the cook he's most jealous of, (my opinion), pretends that
he's doing a restaurant review, then challenges him/her to a contest.
Guess who wins.
Why doesn't the Food Network focus on the cook who made the dish,
rather than on this professional creep, who has invented an imaginary
competition with the rest of the world?
Why doesn't FN focus on cooking and recipes?
That reinforces my decision to have cancelled the Food Network from my
satellite subscription. I never did like cooking competitions, and I
hated Bobby Flay. So to have him hosting a competition would really max
out my dislikes in one shot. Add that to the endless reruns of Wrapped
and Rachel Ray dining out, and the whole channel just became a hopeless
waste of time. Throw in the three or four women's channels that came in
the subscription bundle and I am way better off with the new programs.
