Oh gimme a break. Do you consider RFC your personal social playground? Go find a drinking buddy if you want but why ruin a good newsgroup with the incessant stupid flotsam and jetsam?
Using killfiles doesn't exactly improve the overall quality of the group if newcomers can't find the food topics from the trash. And it also doesn't recognize that some perfectly good threads and subjects have nothing to do with the title. I figure if I killfile people, I'm assuming you'll NEVER have anything of value to add. I often read messages having on the outset as to whom wrote them. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt and will read them if the thread is of initial interest.
