Well they damn well better care who she is. She's the richest African
American of the 20th century and Forbes international rich list has
ranked her as the world's ONLY black billionaire for the past three
straight years. In addition, she's the Queen of all Media and the
American people elected her the Greatest Woman in American History in a
massive election conducted last year by Discovery Channel and AOL.
No. They don't need to know who she is. They probably don't care if she is the
only black billionaire. It is a store that caters to the rich and famous, most
of whom have the decency to come to the store during business hours or to make
arrangements ahead of time instead of showing up after hours when they are busy
with some other promotion and then whining about racism. She showed herself to
be lacking in the style and sophistication befitting a billionaire.
Actually she showed herself in having the backbone, courage,
self-respect and power to force the world of high-end world of retail
to extend the same VIP treatment that rich white celebs routinely enjoy
to the world's ONLY black billionaire and the most influential woman on
Earth. Had it been blond blue eyed Princess Di who showed up 15 minutes
late you can bet your bottom dollar that the doors of Hermes would have
swung right open as the staff announced "Oui, Oiu, Oui, Madamme. We
always have time for you Madame."
Oprah's intelligent enough of to know when she's being snubbed and
there's not a person on this Earth who will treat her like a second
rate celeb and force her to just roll over and take it. Even in a
foreign country where people may not care for Oprah, Oprah DEMANDS to
be treated with the respect her and her people have struggled so long
for.
