Re: Pizza Eaters around the globe, name your toppings

All this talk of pizza is making me want some. <lol>

There is a local privately owned pizzaria that will just bake me a thin
crust and let me buy that so I can make my own pizza at home.

I like to make a "fresh" pizza, it's SO divine!

Take some roma tomatoes, slice them fairly thin and lay aside to drain a
bit while you meez' the other toppings.

I'll go ahead and fry up some sauasage patties and break those up, slice
up some canned or fresh steamed artichoke hearts, slice some cooked
shrimp lengthwise in half and crack open and drain a can of sliced black
olives, then set up the grated cheese mix.

Take fresh basil, fresh Mexican oregano, a bit of dittany, a smidgin of
Rosemary and some thyme (all live from the herb garden) and mince those
up fine, then add a little minced green onion and some pressed garlic.

Lightly oil the crust with some EVOO and lay the tomato slices liberally
all over that and sprinkle the herbal mix over that, then top with the
rest of the items and cheese.

Bake until the cheese is all melted and beginning to bubble.

Eat. ;-d

For a quick fix, there is "cracker pizza".

Lay a slice of roma tomato over a saltine or club cracker, sprinkle a
little garlic and onion powder, and a smidgin of italian spice mix over
that. Lay a little topping over than and top with a thin slice of
Mozarella or Monterey jack cheese.

Nuke until the cheese melts.

Eat.
