You all are making fun of me right? They are already sweet so why would I
do that?
I don't know if they're making fun, but try this simple experiment.
The next time you zap some carrots, substitute a pinch of sugar for the
pinch of salt. It's counterintuitive, because carrots are already
sweet and get sweeter when they're cooked, but some form of added
sweetness makes them even better. And salt doesn't perk them up the
way it does nearly every other vegetable. IMHO. -aem
