Has anyone made their own seltzer at home using theseAs a fellow Seltzerholic, I look at it this way.
along with a soda syphon? I'm interested in trying one, I sure
spend a lot of money on seltzer.
Thoughts?

The cost of a selzter maker runs about $50.
10 CO2 cartridges run about $7.
So, for the first 365 fills (1 year) the cost comes to:
$50 for the maker plus
36 X $7 for 1 years worth of cartridges (255.50)
= 305.50 for the year.
So 365 / 305.50 = 0.836 per bottle (usually a litre, but with some
brands it is a quart) of soda.
So, it's up to you whether 83 cents per bottle is worth it to you.
