Some are more bitter than others. Beck's is too bitter for me. I can't
stand a bitter beer either. John bought some Irish beer and some other beer
at TJ's the last time he was there. Sea Dog and Ekstra. One of them was
wheaten in color and taste. I believe it was the Irish one, Sea Dog. But a
non-beer drinker wouldn't go out of their way to find beer, in any event.
DH likes beer, so I get to taste the ones he chooses. About 1/4 cup is all
I ever want, unless it's with hot Indian food.

That is what works for me, and also not eating 2 hours before going to
bed. Elevate the head of your bed a few inches too. That all helps GERDS.

I've decided not to take anything at all - but most anything works. It's a
toss up IMO whether to take them and live with GERD which may cause an
esophageal errosion/lesion, or take the chance of risk from the damage that
the meds do. I will take a Tums if I get in real-big-trouble, tho. I'm not
into suffering.

I want to not have GERD at all, so that's what I'm working on.
Yes, I've elevated my head too many times to count - tee hee.
