Thanks, Om,
I love beer, but seldom drink it; it brings my body down just like other
liquer -- but I do drink a Buckler's non-alcoholic beer maybe a few times a
year. Wine doesn't seem to do this to me -- except some that have more
sulphites than others. I stay away from that.
Daddums prefers "Kosher" wines for that very reason. :-)
I don't react well to sufites in excess either. Unfortunately, I have
yet to find a beer I like. They all taste bitter to me.
I don't think chicken or pork will give your body the B-12 it needs -- seems
liked I've investigated this, but is only my opinion. (No urls' as proof
here! -- tee hee).
No, you are correct. I've researched it.
Red meat is the #1 best source of B-vitamins. It's just expensive to buy
beef all the time and I can get burned out on it. And pork is not my
favorite meat.
But I do take a 2500 mcg sublingual B-12. This month I'm off all vitamins
to see if I can get my GERD a little more under control since I'm off Tums
and Prilosec. I usually take separate vitamins (i.e., my B's are not all in
one tablet) for more control. It doesn't matter whether I take 1 vitamin or
20, they land in my stomach and ouch, it burns. Even the probiotic does the
same thing. I'm going to be getting some powdered probiotics, but right now
I'm eating yogurt everyday.
That helps.
Have you tried generic Zantac? (Ranitidine)
That is what works for me, and also not eating 2 hours before going to
bed. Elevate the head of your bed a few inches too. That all helps GERDS.
P.S. Pilsner Urquell, one of my top-10 beers. I can't think of the other
9 -- tee hee. Thanks for the article.

P.S. Watching Sara's Secrets, she can hardly reach the top of her oven to
put food into it. Yikes!
