Too true. M$ has offered nothing of improvement since w95. More
fluff, more bloat, more mind numbing uselessness perhaps, but nothing
of worth. But, I keep an old w98se box around to run those programs
that absolutely refuse to port to Linux, like autocad.



Does W95 support USB? That's probably the whole point of this thread. I've never heard of a digital camera where you can transfer pictures without USB (unless your computer has built in card readers).


Our very first digital didn't have a USB cord but one of those round ends with pins. I know you can buy adaptors that for round to USB. It didn't have a flash or any additional memory so could only hold 18 pictures. I know I downloaded the pictures on Win95 and Win98 but we upgraded camers shortly after going to Win98. BTW, I can't recall the brand of the camera but it took fairly decent pictures outdoors.
