(actually on a side note anyone looking for a place to 'get away
from
it all' that includes lovely scenery AND is only a short short trip
from milan, pisa, genoa.... go to the 'Cinque Terre' during OFF
season
when theres no tourists. My god it was beautiful).
.... and there appears to be a chain of stores all over the country
that server hot chocolate like Ive never had it before. Wonderful
gloopy hot flavoured blends. I can't remember the name of the chain
or
the franchise but Im sure anyone in Italy reading this will very
quickly know which one im talking about.

I'm from Italy, 60km west of Bologna, and I can't figure out what
chain you're talking about. Maybe it's from central Italy or it is
working only in big cities.
