Pepper Update was Re: Pepper is Dead Lame!


Ok, Pep's fever is gone this morning. He's not 3-legged, dead lame.
He's ouchy, but putting weight on it. Called Doc (who was scheduled
to come out this morning). We all believe that Pep is brewing an
abscess. Not sure what that lump is all about, but it's not swelling,
it's not painful to Pep, so, who knows. It does seem to be
superficial.

For now, we're keeping a close eye on him. (No, I am not going to
soak it. That has *never* worked for us. Plus, given the amount of
controversy about soaking, I'm goin' with Hassler's opinion on this
one.)
