the best Pointing Dog publication out there(but I'm prejudiced

Are the articles not online?
http://www.pointingdogjournal.com/aindex.php?method=AUTHOR
This would not show me anything - nor did subject or issue?

The articles aren't online....if they print them online, then they
have to pay the authors again (not that I'd mind! ;) )

strange setup on site then - cos it looks like they are there and searchable
Or am I missing summat

[I considered retitling this to "My Browser Won't Fetch"]

Despite the text "For the best experience it is recommended that you are
running the latest version of Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer," it
appears that they have some incompatibility with the version/configuration
of Firefox that I am running. In Firefox, none of the three "Article
Index" search methods display anything. In IE, the results are consistent
with expectations as a non-subscriber, i.e., for "author" search, I get
a long list of authors, alphabetized by last, first (although Dr. Stephanie
Smith comes before Gary Smith) that allow clicking to reveal the list
of articles displaying title, subject, author(s) and issue information.
Articles with multiple authors are not treated well being alphabetized as
first/last (first author), first/last (2nd author) etc. Sharon Potter has
only one article under her name, while she shows up as 2nd author in 10
articles with Rick Smith under the author entry "Rick Smith, Sharon
Potter." The entry for "Smith, Rick" shows only two articles.

I haven't the time to look into it, but my guess is that the developers
have been seduced by some non-standard feature that breaks Firefox.
It is also possible that I've broken something in my configuration
since a recent update (Firefox or one of its addons) clobbered a bunch
of my individual configuration choices that are slowly recovering. :-/

By contrast, in following the home page link to "explore an issue",
Firefox allowed clicking on all of the sample content to display
articles or excerpts. IE allowed reading the feature article, but
did not permit access to the excerpts from "training columns",
"wingshooting columns", "health, etc." or "miscellaneous items."

[Firefox 2.0.0.12, IE 7.05730.11]
