Yep. Entirely possible he's been spoiled for years relying on her good
graces : ).
Having reread the facts, given that it _was_ his stuff before marriage,
caution and CYA is needed.
Lawsuits or motions in court aren't cheap, even ones that get dismissed.
Even if he would just shrug if he found out she sold it, I sometimes find
"the new spouses" to be the catalyst for litigation... "what???? we could
have gone to Hawaii with that money!!! You are NOT letting HER get away
with that!!!"
