hematite and pearls. But then, you'd all make fun of me, cause I have
one of those really DQ'ish Otto Schumacher rolled leather bridles. My
excuse is that Spice's old bridle was too big for Calibra's refined
head. And... the rolled leather... it looked so good... and, well, I
just sold the company, so I had a little extra cash, and... uh.... well
you all hate me now, doncha??

naaaaa.....at least I don't hate you! You were on my side on the
clothesline episode. (which my DH resolved for me this morning before
work...he had a "talk" with the BO/instructor)
:) It's just funny reading all these flames against DQ's, then looking in the mirror and going, "Uh oh!" <g>
I try not to be a snotty DQ, though. I would never ask you to take your laundry in, and my trainer is clearly in the camp of "They [horses] have a job to do, and it's your job as a rider to make sure they do their job - no excuses." She would never LET me use flapping panties or anything else as an excuse:)
Recent example was the VA show where Calibra was distracted by a lot of traffic going by the particular ring he was in. She told me about it as an explanation of some bobbles in the test. However, she didn't whine, complain, or get upset about it. It's just part of the sport - Calibra could obviously benefit from your laundry desensitizing program. Ever thought of charging admission?!
