Oh!
Did I miss something or forget? (I confess to Senior Moments).
Why are Mouse and Tucker going?

We'd like a break from it all
You have been having a rough go of it lately. A rest is deserved.

and, quite honestly, I don't think my heart
can take the day I have to put Mouse down or I go out and find her dead.
I'd like to watch her go down the road, fat and happy and know that she'll
be loved by someone as much as we did, perhaps more, because they'll use her
rather than let her languish in pasture.
Makes sense to me.

If I ever get other horses I plan
on not getting as attached as I have to this mare.
Hah. Good luck on that.

I'll miss her like crazy. I already do and she's still HERE for cripes
sake!
Go have a good snuggle in her horsey smell mane.

Sounds like nice people, though. Hope all goes well.

VERY nice folks. It's pretty much a done deal. We're giving it a couple of
weeks so thay can add more fence down near the river.

They had planned on getting a easy keeper but that deal fell thru when the
guy flaked on them. The paddocks they had would have been fine for that
horse. I explained that our horses are used to at least 3-4 acres of good
grazing. They have the land. They'll add the fence.
Excellent. Sounds perfect. Works out for all.
Best of luck with all that's going on.
