There is that.
Ummm, you wouldn't want to sell her right? ;-)
Yeah, right, wait for it. :-)
Thanks for the comments on her conformation.
In short, she looks like a jumping machine to me.
I am hoping so. She is a puppy-dog personality, very much a curious, into everything, whatcha doin'? kinda girl. She is clearly more sensitive and reactive than Belles at the same ages, but not as flighty as mama.
Can you present her for approval to the ISH people? I'm confuzzled
at their rules, Cruiser is registered ISH but he is a mixture of Selle
Francais, Tb and some RID and some, well, unidentified line. I'm of
the impression that they count percentage of RID.
Well . . . it goes like this. I never got a covering certificate--I asked for it twice in phone messages and never got a response from the stallion owner. He is no longer standing his stallions, as they have all disappeared from the IDHSNA web site of listed stallions. He sold his place and moved to another state, and I don't have his current contact info although I could get it. I was so very broke at the time I bred Moonlight I didn't have the cash to register a foal anyhow, so I didn't push when she was younger. For those late breaking into this story, my X left me the week I was to find out if the third try for settling Moonlight was a go or not (she was a need some regumate kinda girl--once we sorted that out she had no troubles, but she kicked out her first two pregnancies in favor of a follicle). SO I had decided that if she were not in foal, I would eat the cost of the stud fees and all the breeding costs and not try for a second season--but she WAS in foal, so it was all good. I managed to hang onto the farm until better times, life is good, yada yada.
So yes, she could be registered as an Irish Draught Sport Horse, but I don't have all her paperwork and am uncertain that I could get it.
You do need a certain % RID to be registered as an IDSH, and then if you want breeding status they need inspection on top of that. If they are nice but not Irish Enough Looking you get flunked.
Very nice young 'un. From your accounts it seems her mind is as good
as she looks. You gotta keeper.
Thanks, and I hope so!
