Ruth maybe you should do what the bull riders do with their hats i.e.

When I used to show, we used to spray the inside of the brim with
hairspray. If the hat came off, so did your skin!

Laurel: Hahahaha! I put a leather string on it. :) Works fine, now
and I don't have to be concerned about a headache from hell. Like Don
said (bad fit). It is a bit small, so it won't pull down as far as
those real cowboy's hats. Can't say I ever understood the fascination
with bull riding (or bronc riding), except perhaps their adrenalin (sp)
rush. (But it is fun to watch.)
Kim: LOL! Nah! I want to be able to move it around a bit, shift it
back or remove it without removing skin. But that certainly is an
interesting solution! The string works, too. :)
NOTE: I did buy another hat... one that fits. However, I put a string
on it, too (just in case). Now the "stompers" don't go running after
and picking up MY hat to help me out. If I don't wear a hat, then I
get so burned on my face that it's painful (even with SPF xx).
Thanks for the suggestions. :)
