Some of the horses's preferences may seem odd by North American/European
standards but horses in India are routinely offered bananas and Greeks fed
fenugreek to horses regularly. Also, English farmers used fenugreek and
cumin in past centuries to encourage fussy eaters to finish their feed.
Those are some freaking weird flavors, fenugreek? What the _uck is that? And
who has it in their kitchen? Fess up-I wanna know. Who really likes or knows
what cumin tastes like? I could hardly tell you when I used it! If ever,
maybe in a chili recipe once. I'll stick with two of them, carrot and
peppermint, those I have and use. Oregano? Yeah, and it keeps bugs out of
your cupboards too.
