The only way I could do that would be if the BO happens to have a stall

Can you "sublet" your stall for the summer, with a definite end date
when the horse has to move out to leave it available for your horse
for the winter?

A lot of the stables in my area allow sub-letting. You are
responsible for finding the subletter and paying the board, but can
have your subletter pay directly to the barn owner.

Hmm...never heard of this practice before. So, what does the sub-letter
do when it's time to move their horse out of your stall?? Do they put
their horse onto pasture? Or move to a new barn?

It sounds kind of complicated to me.

It's not that complicated, during the summer I do some (rehearsal) lessons
for me and my horse with this trainer and then I move it back to my home.
Hey I could think of this and I never boarded a horse :)
