What do you guys want to see on a sale video? How long should it be? I
don't intend to include sound, is this a problem? Do we go through the
entire thing from saddling to riding etc? Any hints?

Dana

I want to see a both side+ front and back conformation shot that is
clear, in focus and in good lighting with the horse on level ground
standing square.

WTC both directions, halt and back.

The horse in good lighting, in focus and reasonably close up while
still showing all four legs performing the manoevers it is supposed to
be able to do according to the discipline it's being sold for.

If it's to be a youth or family horse, show it being caught, handled
and tacked up by a kid.

3-5 minutes at the most and please no cheesy music and slow motion
running through the field scenes as amost every horse looks pretty
running through a verdant pasture, tail flying.

When I was looking for a horse to buy this spring, you wouldn't believe
all the waaaay too short, out of focus or grainy vids I saw. Horses
being chased around pens, some shadowy equid apparently moving at the
far end of a dimly lit arena...you name it, I saw it. I wasn't looking
for some expensive, professional presentation; but an honest, clear
view of the horse would be a good starting point.

Just my .02
