| a well broke horse...it shows a horse is totally broke to the legs and
| body and does not need the constant bit pressure to ride him...he has
| learned to carry himself comfortably and in round about way packs us
| around in a way easier for us...

When are they usually introduced to the curb?
I take it that it isn't like the double bridle in dressage which is
introduced a ways down the rode when doing third or fourth level (i.e.,
beyond all basic work and into medium).
