Re: Getting Better :)

OK, so, I'm off the doxycycline, which means I can go outside during
daylight hours - a big huge improvement. The new antibiotic is causing
quite a few things to get distressingly and painfully worse before they
get better, but over all it's more than a fair trade. I love the sun
in March. :)

Yes, Thin, bright, so clean. Ful of promise!

Bless her. Wha a good girl to realize it was just weird critters.

Today I went for a lesson on a school horse with a new instructor,
and
I am actually kinda cautiously excited. :) I'm used to trying new
instructors and disagreeing with at least half of what comes out of
their mouths, but that didn't happen. There was no riding front to
back while extolling back to front, no hands at all, really - I left
the reins looped most of the time. We just worked on my balance and
use of the weight and leg aids while going around in a nice steady
rhythm on a really well-schooled old campaigner who ratted me out
immediately for every transgression. And the instructor was really
perceptive and really helpful in starting to get my position and
balance issues sorted out. It wasn't pretty, but there were moments
here and there where I didn't completely suck.

YAY. Oh, after all you have been dealing with, so glad you had this
nice day. There will be more of them.

How nice to read about your instructor. Back to front, indeed! What a
novel concept! >;->

So, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer. :) I may
just truck one of them up there for a lesson next week. It was
(Shhhhhhhh) FUN. :) There is every possibility that I may stop whining
soon. :)

No, not that! >;->

Good for you Nancy. Really hopeing things continue to look up for you
all.
