They are 1.49 I think here. they go in the botton of the boot and work

I have been lucky that most of the time I have ridden (which is around
noon) the sun is out and the temp is above 50. Today it will be in the
40s. The last time I rode when my toes froze it was in the low 30s. I
try to ride on Wednesdays at lunch time (I get into work around 5:45
am). It is too cold to ride after work or in the mornings right now.
Last night I went to the ski shop looking for poly-somthing
chili-something socks but all they had were wool blends. I bought a
pair of thin thermal wool socks and some toe warmer inserts because I
use the hand inserts and they are very toasty. I think that should do
the trick since we don't have too many really cold days. But I also
have been told that this is a mild winter for us.
I just moved from California to Colorado last May and don't have cold
weather equipment. I hoping to find some of the warm mountain boots on
sale at the end of the season in preparation for a "real" winter. I
probably am speaking too soon. We still have March to contend with
which can be the snowiest month here.
