I moved my Dusty and Tico to a new boarding barn with an indoor and LOTS
of space 2 weekends ago.

<snip>

So glad they're in a better place now, what a relief for you! Good luck,

Robin

Thanks, Robin.
One thing that's really nice - there's a mix of riding styles at this barn:
western, reining, huntseat, dressage... and everyone seems to get along
really well. I've met quite a few very nice people already.

Yesterday, Tico was a bit more full of himself - I haven't been lunging him
first, but I think I'll start doing that. I'd hoped that he'd gotten his
major ya-yas out after being turned out for a few hours, but it wasn't the
case. He settled down after I took him outside to one of the outdoor rings
and made him walk over ground poles and a low (about 1 foot) jump.

I'm going to try to get over a few times through the week from now on, and
ride in the evening - he definitely needs to work. But here, I actually can
look forward to going over in the evening.

Susan
