I thought it was horrible, too, and I am a bit ashamed to admit that it
didn't bother me that the bull might have hurt a couple of the spectators.
My brother was stationed in Guadalajara and as part of his embassy duties
had to attend at least one bullfight. He came away sickened but any
discussion he had regarding the issue was met with disdain by the locals.
