I was thinking the same thing. :) Old cavalry seat. But it's also
really a *classic* eventing shot.
Actually the pic is not so bad when you consider the rider does not
seem to be balancing off his/her hands. Also remember this pic is a
fraction of a second in motion. Surely the rump cleared obstacle and
popped the rider back into the saddle.
In any case, I've seen worse, and assume everyone involved survived.
Which is half the battle these days, in that sport.
