If the shaft gets hot, the bearings would be my suspect. Takes a lot less
to transfer by conduction than convection. Unload the belt and spin the
shaft. Shouldn't hear much if anything with no load. Get the numbers from
the installed bearings and shop somewhere besides Delta for replacements.
