Try Cheers (Wine on Line), Houghton-Le-Spring, they sell most things needed
for wine and beer.

Barney,
1st you can't sterilize with Campton tablets.
You can sanitize only.1 pint is not worth saving. Stop pinching pennies.
It's the one time you think it's OK and it's NOT then you can lose your
wine. This "hobby" is not for skimping procedures.
Keep smelling the solution and if you can smell sulfite its OK. Keep it in
a
closed container.

I have made a sterilising solution using 5 Campden Tablets to 1 pint
of water. Can anyone tell me how long this solution will keep?
Thanks Tom. I'll bear this in mind. However on my bottle of Youngs
Campden Tablets, it clearly says "Use 5 tablets to 1 pint of warm
water to make a sterilising solution".
I did used to use Chempro SDP, but I cannot find a shop that stocks it
in my area. I live in Gateshead. I had to actually go to Stanley to
get some yeast nutrient!
Anyway thanks for your comments :-)
Barney.
