Oh, well, thanks, but I'm a nine year survivor, it was a routine mammo.
And I saw the pictures and they looked good - as well as showing an
interesting dark wedge where I had a lumpectomy. I'll elect to continue
having them annually for the rest of my life, an early one contributed to
the saving of it :-) I recommend it to everyone!

I never had breast cancer, and I was lucky enough to never need chemo or
radiation treatments, but I am also a cancer survivor.

Hurrah!

It's been 16 yeasr (Aug 10th) since I had to have a total hysterectomy
due to cervical cancer (my son was 10 then, and I had hoped to have
another child at some pont, but better to save my life).

Indeed.

....

look what it did to me!" LOL I'm obviously one of those people who
do better (mentally anyway) on less sleep. ;o)

I need a lot!

Ah, I do have my days where I am barely able to function at all due to
lack of enough sleep... but on occasion, if I nap too deeply, it feels
like I have been drugged and it affects my thinking.

I rarely nap but I have the same feeling if I do. I used to nap in the
afternoon when the children were at school but it didn't really do me much
good.

On the other hand, I must have needed it - I'd be up most nights until 3 am
....

Now - where's that camera?
