I've been stewing about this for many many hours now... a Veteran's Admin
employee took the personal info of 26 and a half million veterans HOME with
them, and that info was stolen in a house robbery.
Said employee did NOT have the right to take this kind of sensitive info
out of the Vet's Admin, and he/she only got administrative leave for this
crime.
Now 26 1/2 million veteran's could possibly be victims of ID theft, because
their SS#'s and birthdates are among this info.
The media keeps referring to the robbery at this person's home, but the
REAL THIEF is the jackass who took this info in the first place.
Administrative leave? For a crime like this? HANG 'EM!
Noreen
pissed off as hell.
