Hi Dee Dee, I'm Jean, I drop in Once in a blue moon, and seldom do more than post a reply ot two. I can never remember if I have formally introduced myself to everyone or not.

I'm 45, live in So. Cal, and have a family of DH, teen son, 2 dogs & 1 cat.

I taught myself crochet a few years back, after my gramma passed on- It was a way I could keep a part of her with me.

I have a friend in the midwest suffering fibromyalgia, her name is Diane too just as a coincidence. It seems to be an affliction that ushers in a host of other unwelcome ailments. I send positive energy for you, in the hope you will have more good days than bad! (If DLU is out there- hey lady!)

I have recently discovered amigurumi as well, and have ordered a couple books off ebay from Japan. maybe they'll arrive today! I plan on spreading the love to all my neighbors' grand kids!

I have also come up with a cute amigurumi type wrist bag, which I think I may try to market. If you have time, maybe you'd be interested in beta testing for me?

Great to meet ya'll .... looking forward to getting to know everybody and learn new techniques.
I have a few problems with some things .. but it's still early and I'm not quite awake, so will be back later to ask.
