And a very good thought too. Unfortunately the old computer (even if it
were sitting right beside me, which it isn't.... Matthew stored it upstairs
for now) freezes up between 5 and 10 minutes at the most after being turned
on... so I'm not even sure it would stay on long enough to get online.

When we do bring it back downstairs (I am not doing it, so don't everyone
jump on me) I will get inside and give it a bit of a dusting out, and wiggle
a few of the connectors around a bit, and see if that will help it to stay
up for a little while longer. If so, then I'll give your suggestion a try!
Meanwhile, I have sent your suggestion off to my email to keep for future
reference. Thank you! :o)
