However, after spending a LOT of time looking up URLs on the Internet for macrame' patterns and step by step instructions, I think I have more than enough information already... and it was free, except for the time I "spent" looking it up. Good luck with your endeavors!

Gem, You're a HELLOVA lot more polite than I am! And, what the heck is ... well Bob's your Uncle.... what IS that?? Noreen
On HERE I'm polite... you weren't sitting in my computer room when I read that. LOL
I don't have a clue about that "Bob's your Uncle" bit. As far as I've ever heard it is a really old saying (likely before my parent's time even) that never made any sense to me at all. I don't even have an Uncle Bob.... I don't even have a cousin Bob for that matter. ;o)
"Bob's your uncle" means that something is quite easy, once you do something else. Example: "Just pour all the ingredients into the bowl, and Bob's your uncle!"
HTH Katherine
When anyone said Bob's your uncle to us we used to reply with "And Fanny's your Aunt". I never did get to know what was meant by it but it is many years since I heard either saying. LOL
